Comparison of the Air Pollution Mathematical Model of PM10 and Moss Biomonitoring Results in the Tritia Region

Knowing the relationship between pollution sources and air concentrations is crucial. Mathematical modeling a suitable method for assessment of this relationship. The aim research was to compare results Analytical Dispersion Modelling Supercomputer System (ADMOSS), which used in large areas, with moss biomonitoring. For comparison purposes, mathematical collection samples biomonitoring Czech–Polish–Slovak border area European Grouping Territorial Cooperation (EGTC) Tritia were carried out. Moss analyzed by multi-element instrumental neutron activation analysis (INAA). INAA statistically processed using correlation-matrix-based hierarchical clustering correlation ADMOSS results. Biomonitoring bryophytes proved be verification models due ability capture long-term deposition pollutants resulting possibility finding real distribution area, as well identify specific chemical elements, coincides model.
